The Dance Division is one of the leading dance imprints in the Nordic Region. The label was created in the beginning of 2004 and had immedietly success with artists like 4 Strings, Ron van den Beuken, Tiesto, Armin van Buuren, Terry Williams, Randy Kantana, Sylver and many more – in the end of 2004 the compilation brand CHAPTER TRANCE and the sub-brand CHAPTER DANCE was created. Among Nordic Region DJ’s The Dance Division is now a household name and the label is known for it’s varied release mentality – from credible house, trance and over to pop dance. Even easy, creasy pop has been marketed via the label.

In resent years, the label has been creating successes like Infernal, Akcent, Rockefeller, Tony Cha Cha and Divided. In 2007 The Dance Division launched the brand TUNING HITZ (www.tuninghitz.com) which is one of the big new compilation successes selling more than 85.000 CD/DVD’s in the past year. The series has created an exellent space for letting more credible dance coming out to a wider audience. Other compilation brands which falls under TDD is Kidz Hitz Party and the new dance compilation brand EVERYBODY DANCE NOW and, for sure, the credible brand Super Trance.

The latest edition to the content of TDD is the new homepage www.thedancedivision.com which is meant to be a “interactive” platform for the DJ’s in the Nordic Region with a blog, interactive chart and much more to be added in th future.
TDD is teaming up with Toco Europe, Black Hole, Armada, Mostiko, Hypertraxx, and for sure it partner Edel Finland.

The mantra of the label is to launch dance music in all forms, which has a cutting edge and to be based, for sure, on hits.
